Hello there! This is still a work in progress as I revamped the original character. She's a bit of a spacy Scholar that made some very profitable decisions. Has a wanderlust that she's too pensive to act on, and has been looking for any reason to change that.

notable features. Very thin, frail. Almost sickly so, but she hides it well and strongly holds steadfast to a professional air about her... albeit a slightly spacey, preoccupied one of an overworked scholar with their hands in one too many business ventures.
job occupation. Scholar as a job class is the best descriptor for her fighting style and capabilities.

affiliation. She has worked with the Marauder's Guild multiple times before, and still sometimes goes on such excursions. Most of the people she works with are Roegadyn, so she's heavy ties within La Noscea. She also has ties in the Shroud around the PoTD.
family. No living family. Was born as a twin.

It can at times be an issue on the battlefield if she's not careful.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Cirina's deep understanding of aether and its manipulation has led her to great success, yet her fragile health and tendency to overwork herself often threaten to undo her achievements. While her professional demeanor may make her appear distant or aloof, those who take the time to know her find a kind, graceful, and selfless individual beneath the surface—someone who is dedicated to helping others, though occasionally lost in her own thoughts. Her restless curiosity keeps her constantly seeking new knowledge and experiences, but her struggles with balance leave her walking a fine line between her ambition and well-being. She's a hidden bit of mischief about her, though it's rare that one would see that side of her.

Born as a twin into the silent Qestir tribe of the Xaelic people, where words were considered deceitful and all communication was made through gestures and expressions. Her family lived by this vow of silence, wishing to teach Cirina and her twin sister to value silence above all. Their peaceful existence was shattered, and for undisclosed reasons they’d fled to Doma. There, both parents would eventually break their unspoken vows as the shadow of Garlemald’s military presence loomed closer. To escape the mounting danger, they’d flee even further still, seeking refuge in the forests of the Black Shroud.In the Shroud, Cirina’s family lived hidden on the outskirts of the Palace of the Dead, working as apothecaries. It was here, in a small, hidden cave, that the twins were able to grow up in relative safety. Their childhood marked by the quiet rustle of leaves and the smell of medicinal herbs. As the years passed, Cirina and her sister were sent to La Noscea to pursue their studies in the arcane arts, their paths diverging as Cirina found herself drawn to the scholarly pursuit of healing and knowledge. She eventually graduated onto the path of the Scholar, her dedication to understanding aether and its manipulation shaping her into the focused, disciplined individual she is today.Despite her accomplishments, Cirina's life remains one of quiet isolation and a strong sense of duty. Over time, she became closely affiliated with the Marauders' Guild, undertaking dangerous expeditions and strengthening ties within La Noscea. However, her journey has been far from a straightforward one. While her work as a Scholar has brought her stability, her wanderlust and desire to understand the world beyond have left her restless. She has invested her hard-earned earnings into various ventures, including businesses that have proven fruitful, allowing her to purchase her own home in The Mist. Though she enjoys the comfort of a permanent residence, Cirina still takes on occasional excursions, driven by the desire to learn and see more of Eorzea’s diverse peoples and lands.Despite her success, Cirina’s health is a constant concern. Her frail frame and delicate constitution are a result of overworking herself to the point of exhaustion. She’s often so absorbed in her work that she becomes impervious to the world around her, pushing her limits even when her body warns her to stop. While her aetheric reserves are vast, they come at a price, and if she isn’t careful, this can lead to dangerous consequences in the heat of battle.Cirina’s focus on her work and her desire to maintain a professional air often causes her to miss the more personal connections others might form. Yet those who know her find a kind, graceful, and humble soul beneath her scholarly exterior—a person who is always willing to help and always ready to listen, though sometimes a little lost in her thoughts.Now, as she continues her journey, Cirina’s story is far from over. Homebody. Cirina very much has been spending more time with her nose in the ledgers and books. She's due to get out and her staff very much have been pushing for it. They might even make a special request just to make this happen.
Healer. Because this isn't an easy one (lol). Are in need of someone with her expertise? Either in house or traveling. She's your girl! Just know she's only got spells and such... physically? She will be pretty helpless.

Hunted... In regards to the Steppe, Cirina may still be responsible for the promises that her parents backed out on. In trying to save their daughters, they may have instead cursed the one that's since survived.

Hello there! I've been roleplaying for nearly two decades and in FFXIV since Heavensward, going from other games to tabletop campaigns. I've a love for creative writing, and am excited to see where the story can take us! Cirina's details are somewhat sparce here on the carrd, but I'd not mind sharing more if you'd wish to chat! Or, I'd be happy to leave all that to the characters to find out for themselves!I prefer RP in-game, but am happy to write on Discord if a scene is in a place not easily represented in-game, involves a significant number of NPCs, is a GM'd plotline event, etc. And while this character is off the table for some things, feel free to reach out to me for other characters and ideas!I am also aware that the below columns are not for everyone.
